Temporary administration "Tojiksodirotbank" (TSB) informs about the renewal of transactions on money transfers from the 1st of September this year.

According to the report of the public corporation "Tojiksodirotbank", in order to protect the rights of clients temporary administration is taking a number of measures to restore banking operations.

"From the 1st of September, 2016, operations on money transfers across its branch network have been resumed ", – noted in the Bank.

"Now the customers, – underlined in the message, – based on the capabilities of the branch will be able to receive remittances from abroad for the following systems: “Zolotaya Korona”, “Contact”, “Unistream”, “Western Union”, “Interexpress”, “Caspian Money Transfer”.

Note that since the beginning of this year “Tojiksodirotbank” is in a difficult financial situation. In connection with the lack of financial resources the Bank is unable to timely and fully serve their customers.

On the 18th of May the National Bank of Tajikistan has appointed provisional administration in the credit institution for a period of three months to "improve financial condition" and "protect the interests of depositors and creditors of the Bank".

On the 18th of August the NBT extended the term of office of the provisional administration in the Bank for another three months. "This measure is aimed at full recovery of operation of the Bank", – reported the press service of the regulator.

The main current priority, according to the experts of the NBT, is the “first full-fledged recovery of "Tojiksodirotbank" through its recapitalization and the conducting of active operations for the recovery of problem loans and timely implementation of the Bank's liabilities before the depositors and creditors, as well as the resumption of its activities as a full-fledged competitive system-forming Bank”.
