Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes.

Ms. Qimmatgul Aliberdiyeva was relieved of her post of Mayor of Khorog for age reasons.

Ms. Arambegim Mahtobshozoda, who had previously served as Principal of Presidential Lyceum in Khorog, was appointed Mayor of Khorog.

Head of the Asht district (Sughd province), Mr. Azizboy Azizi, was retired for age reasons.

Mr. Mirdado Zarif was appointed to head the Asht district.      

Mr. Homidullo Mashrabzoda was appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

Besides, by president’s decree Mr. Muhiddin Payshanbezoda was appointed Adviser at the Office of President’s Adviser for Social Development and Public Relations  

Mr. Alimardon Azimzoda was appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Agriculture and Environmental Protection at President’s Executive Office.
