On Wednesday August 9, President Emomali Rahmon paid a working visit to Khuroson and Abdurahmon-Jomi districts in the southern Khatlon province. 

The head of state reportedly got acquainted with living conditions of the population and achievements of local farmers.

The president visited a number of farming units in the districts and a ceremony of an official opening of a new building of School # 4 in Abdurahmon-Jomi district.     

During a visit to an exhibition of achievements of farmers of Khuroson district that was organized in the Sadriddin Ayni jamoat, Emomali Rahmon was entertained to tandoor-baked ‘non’ (Tajik bread).

During an address to a meeting of regional administrators and heads of local farms in Khuroson district, Emomali Rahmon called on them to organize conservation of fruits and vegetables for export.
