President Emomali Rahmon has sacked the heads of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection,  the Veterinary Service at the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision for failing to fulfill their duties properly.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting on November 28 to review the results of this year’s work.

The head of state noted that the imported broiler meat is of low quality and sometimes it is even detrimental for consumption.

By president’s decrees the head of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection Ibodullo Qurboniyon, the head of the Veterinary Service at the Ministry of Agriculture Sherali Vazirov and the head of the State Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision at the Ministry of Health Kholmahmad Karimzoda were sacked, the website said.
