President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes on February 9, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

By president’s decrees a number of regional administrators were replaced.

Thus, heads of the cities of Isfara, Buston and Tursunzoda as well as districts of Hamadoni and Zafarobod were replaced.  

Besides, the president recommended Qarakhon Chillazoda for the post of the head of the Accounts Chamber.  The recommendation was sent for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament).

Bobojon Saidzoda, who had previously served as Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense. 

By government’s decrees Haidar Tursunzoda was appointed the Fist Deputy Charmin of the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan, and Khurshed Sheralizoda and Izzatullo Hurmazoda were appointed Deputy Chairmen of the Customs Service.

By government’s decrees Ikrom Subhonzoda was appointed to head the Civil Aviation Agency and Aziz Nabizoda was appointed Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency.

President Rahmon also recommended Dilorom Abdurahmonzoda to the post of judge at the Constitutional Court and Nabi Alizoda and Mahmadali Abdulhaqov to the posts of judges at the Supreme Court.   The recommendations were sent for consideration to the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament).

By president’s decree Saidjon Quduratzoda was relieved of his post of Chairman of the Fayzobod District Court in connection with his death.

By president’s decree Khairullo Tabarov was relieved of his post of Chief of the Khorog Military Court for age reasons.  

By government’s decree Zarrina Nazarzoda was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Environmental Protection, replacing Aikhon Sharipov, was relieved for age reasons.

By government’s decree Shahnoz Rahmatullozoda was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Architecture and Construction, replacing Zuhro Okimbekova, who was relieved for age reasons.
