Tajik MP Muhabbatsho Ruzador dies

Member of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoaydnagon) of parliament (Majlis Oli), Muhabbatsho Ruzador, died of heart failure Monday morning, aged 62, according to the Majlisi Namoyandagon press center.  

Born on October 13, 1955, Muhabbatsho Ruzador received his secondary education in the Rushan district of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) before graduating in 1975 from Teachers’ Training Institute in Dushanbe.  

He had been engaged in research in the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and teaching in higher education institutions.  Prior to be elected to the Majlisi Namoyandagon in March 2015, Muhabbatsho Ruzador had worked with President’s Executive Office.  Before that, he had served as deputy governor of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

Muhabbatsho Ruzador will be buried today afternoon in one of Dushanbe cemeteries.
