The Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) International Bank of Tajikistan (IBT) has opened one more branch in the northern Sughd province.

A new branch of the bank that recently opened in the northern city of Istiqlol (former Taboshar) has reportedly brought a total number of the bank’s branches in the country to four.  

The head of IBT’s branch in Khujand, Khurshed Umarov, notes that the new branch offers the following services: money transfer; currency exchange; loan providing; retail banking; Internet banking; credit card transactions; etc.   

The Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) “International Bank of Tajikistan” was established in February 2016 as the microfinance organization “Standart Moliya” (Standard Finance) was upgraded into a commercial bank.

The bank’s stakeholders include a private company and a group of nationals of Tajikistan. 

According to information posted on IBT’s website, the International Bank of Tajikistan, with headquarters in Dushanbe, currently has four branches and seven banking service centers in several cities and districts across the country.
