A Kazakhstan-assembled electric crossover was presented at an exhibition of Kazakh industrial goods that took place at Kokhi Borbad State Complex in Dushanbe.

Ms. Irina Mironova, Chief Financial Officer of Kazakhstan’s Joint-Stock Company (JSC) Allure Group, says Allure Group is a shareholder of Kazakhstan’s largest auto manufacturer, SaryarkaAvtoProm, which assembles electric cars.

The Kustanai-located SaryarkaAvtoProm has started serial assembly of electric cars and the Chinese JAC iEV7S is reportedly already available in Kazakhstan.

Kazakh media reports say SaryarkaAvtoProm plans to assemble more than 1,000 cars in three years. The company anticipates electric cars will be purchased for private and taxi service use.

An ordinary 220V outlet can charge the vehicle for seven-eight hours, while a special station can finish the job in an hour and a-half. The power reserve provides enough charge to drive 280 kilometers and the manufacturer notes “if you move no faster than 60 kilometers per hour, you can drive up to 350 kilometers.”  The mini-crossover’s maximum speed is 130 kilometers per hour and it can operate in temperatures as low as minus 27 degrees Celsius.

JAC iEV7S model meets the requirements of the technical regulations of the European Union and the Customs Union that allows it to be exported.  The price of JAC iEV7S is reportedly 33,000 U.S. dollars

Recall, Kazakhstan’s Allure Group in May last year signed an agreement with Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC)   Holding Asia Group Tajikistan on delivery of JAC model cars to Dushanbe for taxi service use.
