President shakes up regional law enforcement officials

President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes replacing a number of regional law enforcement officials. President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes replacing a number of regional law enforcement officials.

According to the Tajik president’s official websites, chief prosecutors in Rushan, Murgab, Shahrinav, Fayzobod, Nourobod, Lakhsh, Jaihoun, Shahriston and Bobojon-Ghafourov districts as well as cities of Nurek, Roghun, Khujand and Panjakent were replaced. 

Besides, chiefs of the Interior Ministry’s offices in Vakhsh and Shahritous districts were replaced.    

Staff changes were also introduced to the Interior Ministry passport-registration service.

By president’s decree Rahimjon Muqimi was appointed chairperson of the Rasht district, replacing Qanoatsho Loiqzoda.   

Director of the Agency for Special Property Management under the Government of Tajikistan, Lolakhon Rahmonzoda, was retired for age reasons.

Savzali Bobozoda was appointed to head the Agency for Special Property Management.  

Khurshed Fayzullozoda, who had previously served a Director of the Varzish TV Channel, was appointed Director-General of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Tojinvest.

Parviz Noriyon was appointed Director General of the Varzish TV Channel.  

By government’s decree Nourullo Nazarzoda was appointed to head the Coordination Center for Social Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Development Projects.
