Major part of Tajik capital will be left without electricity for several hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to neighborhoods Hosilot, Sohili, Darvoz, Alachabof, Janubi, Choryakkoron, Ispechak, Chortut, Chorteppa, Navrouz and Navobod from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.  “Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Panfilov, Tchaikovsky, Fucik, Yesenin, Muzim, Karine Mann, Rumi, Fuzuli, Qahhorov and Nabiyev streets.” 

According to him, routine maintenance work will be carried out by turns on all power substations in the city until the beginning of the heating season.
