Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Tajik capital and fourteen streets and six neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Lev Tolstoy, Ivan Pavlov, Said Nosir, Qahhorov, Kofarnihon, Mash’al, Nusratullo Makhsoum, Shamsi, Tunis, Hisori, Muhammadiyev, Bobojon Ghafourov, Bohauddinov and Shapkin streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network.  “Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Yakkatout, Falakon, 82nd, 101st, 102nd and 104th neighborhoods.”
