A one-year-old girl died after she was hit by her father’s car accidently, according to the Interior Ministry press center.

The tragedy reportedly took place in the city of Tursunzoda yesterday afternoon when Abdullojon Askarov, 34, was moving back and accidently hit his one-year-old daughter Kamola, who was playing behind the car.  The girl died on the spot.

Another fatal traffic accident took place in Dushanbe in the evening of December 11.  Two 19-year-old women, Maqsouda Sangova and Mahina Khudoinazarov, were serously inured after being hit by Mercedes-Benz, driven by Farmon Abdiyev, 30.  The women were taken to a hospital, where they died from injuries sustained in the accident.  The cause of the accident is under way.
