It cannot be ruled out that the head of state may introduce a number of staff changes during a government session to review the results of past year’s work that will take place on January 20.

An official source within the Tajik government says a special attention will be given to issues related to the implementation of the national development strategy for the period to 2030.

Usually, the head of state introduces a number of staff changes in the leaderships of ministries and local governments.

Recall, President Rahmon on January 21 last year expelled the head of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) and director-general of Tajik Air (Tajikistan’s national air carrier) from the room during the government meeting.      .

A day later Emomali Rahmon effected a series of personnel reshuffles at Tajik Air and Dilshod Ismatullozoda was appointed as a replacement director-general of Tajik Air.
