Deputy chairperson of the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT), Mrs. Khairinisso Yusufi, and her daughter have been admitted to the Dushanbe infectious diseases hospital.

A reliable source at the hospital says that condition of a 56-year-old Khairinisso Yusufi is currently assessed as moderate, while her daughter’s condition is assessed as serious.

Khairinisso Yusufi and her daughter were reportedly hospitalized on April 18 or 19.

Another source within this hospital says that the hospital is divided into two zones: “green” and “red”.

According to him, patients in serious condition are placed in the “red” zone, while patients, whose condition is assessed as table, are placed in the “green” zone.

Mrs. Khairinisso Yusufi had served as deputy speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) of the fifth convocation.

Asia-Plus reporters have failed to reach the Health Ministry press center. They just have not picked up the phone.
