On Friday May 29, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated in Danghara the second line at Farm Teks L.L.C. (Pharm Textiles), which is engaged in producing medical dressing materials and cosmetic products as well as personal hygiene items, according to the Tajik president’s official website.   

German state-of-the-art equipment is installed at the enterprise.  In all, Farm Teks L.L.C. reportedly manufactures thirteen items of products.  

The enterprise is capable of processing up to 2,000 kilograms of cotton per day for production of bleached absorbent cotton, medical cotton, dental cotton in the form of tampons, cotton and gauze napkins, and various types of sterilized bandages and adhesive plasters.  

Besides, Farm Teks L.L.C. produces personal hygiene items such as cotton pads, Q-tips, cotton napkins as well as other medical products from blends of cotton and man-made materials.
