From September 20 to September 24, at the Donguz training ground in the Orenburg region, a joint military anti-terrorist command and staff exercise of the armed forces of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization "Peace Mission 2021" will be held.

More than 100 soldiers and officers of the Tajik army under the leadership of the deputy commander of the ground forces of the Ministry of Defense of the republic, Colonel Fatkhullo Inoyatullozoda, went to the exercise site, Faridun Mahmadalizoda, spokesman for the Tajik Defense Ministry, told Asia-Plus.

In total, about 5.5 thousand military personnel and over 1.2 thousand units of weapons, military and special equipment are involved in the exercises.

The exercise involves military personnel from Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. For the first time, the military contingent of Belarus will take part in the exercise.
