Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, who also Head of the Government, introduced a number of staff changes on December 15.  

Ms. Zarafo Qiyomzoda, who had previously served as deputy chairperson of the Committee for environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan, was appointed the first deputy chairperson of this Committee.  

Ms. Jamila Abdurahmonzoda, who had formerly been the deputy chairperson of the Agency for Insurance and Pensions, was appointed the first deputy chairperson of this Agency.

Mr. Alamakhon Naimi, who had previously served as the head of the Finance Directorate at the President’s executive Office, was appointed the deputy head of Agency for Insurance and Pensions, replacing Jamila Abdurahmonzoda.

Mr. Abdujabbor Sattorzoda was relieved of his post of the deputy head of the Human Rights Guarantee Directorate at the President’s Executive Office in connection with transfer to other job.  

Mr. Mahmad Kamolzoda was appointed to head the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Khoja Obi Garm Spa Resort, replacing Mr. Davlat Sami.

Yesterday, Emomali Rahmon also dismissed several judges of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan and reshuffled the National Guard.
