By another president’s degree Masoud Khalifazoda was relieved of his post of Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom in connection with transfer to other job.

Rukhshona Emomali is one of seven daughters of President Emomali Rahmon.  According to some source, Rukhshona Emomali is the wife of Shamsullo Sohibov, the owner of the Faroz Company, which was one of the most successful business conglomerates in Tajikistan.  On September 17, 2019, Faroz announced it would shut down due to tough market conditions and dwindling profits.  That September 17 announcement was followed by a statement that Faroz would sell its 108 businesses and properties across the country.  Dozens of firms owned by the company removed Faroz signs and billboards from their headquarters.

Several other close relatives of Rahmon, who has nine children, occupy important official positions or control lucrative businesses in Tajikistan.

Thus his daughter Ozoda Rahmon heads the President’s Executive Office, while her husband Jamoliddin Nouraliyev is the first deputy head of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
