President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government, yesterday held a government session to review the results of work carried out in the first half of this year, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

Chairperson of Khatlon’s Abdurahmoni-Jomi district, Mr. Safarmahmad Rahimzoda, reported on the progress of implementation of the district socioeconomic development program designed for 2021-2025.

This program reportedly includes 177 projects, totaling 226.2 million somonis.

Besides, seven state investment projects in a total amount of 5.5 million U.S. dollars are being implemented in Abdurahmoni-Jomi district.  

Rahmon instructed the authorities of КопироватьKhatlon province and Abdurahmoni-Jomi district to intensify work to ensure stainable development of various sectors of the district’s economy.

The head of state reportedly also ordered to implement the revenue party of the budget completely and in a timely manner and cut tax, pension and other debts. 

Issues related to the plan of work of the government during the second part of 2022  meeting and celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence were also discussed at the meeting.

The government members also discussed amendments made to the country’s law on prosecutors, administrative code and administrative procedure code and they were sent for consideration to the parliament.   

Besides, appropriate measures were taken at the session regarding the national strategy for financial inclusion designed for 2022-2026 and the government registration of lands in Panj district of Khatlon province and Sangvor district (districts subordinate to the center).
