The Government of Tajikistan instructed the relevant ministries, departments and local government bodies to refrain from secondary spending of budget funds.

 «In order to effectively use budgetary funds and taking into account the actual execution of the state budget, strictly refrain from submitting requests for additional funding», – noted in the tasks adopted by government decree until the end of 2022.

The document, published on the portal of legal information of the Ministry of Justice of the country, also refers to the adoption of the “necessary measures for the targeted use of budgetary funds, the search for new sources of income, the high-quality and complete implementation of the revenue part of the state budget, and the effective management of public finances”.

At the same time, it is instructed to “take measures to ensure the execution of the state budget, full and timely financing of all sectors of the economy”.
