Ambassador of Tajikistan in Moscow Davlatshoh Gulmakhmadzoda held a meeting with Tajik students and members of the Public Council at the Embassy. The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Russia reports this on its official website.

The meeting was dedicated to the Day of the State Language, which is celebrated in Tajikistan on October 5.

Speaking to the youth, Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda emphasized the role of the Tajik language in the revival of the state system, the development of science, education and culture.

The contribution of the Tajik-Persian classics and other poets, philosophers and scientists of our time to the further development of the Tajik language for future generations was noted.

The ambassador also spoke about the achievements of Tajikistan over the 31 years of independence, including the protection of historical and cultural values, the national identity of young people and their comprehensive support for President Emomali Rahmon.

Issues of interest to Tajik youth were also discussed at the meeting. The embassy, in turn, assured the students of its assistance in the implementation of their initiatives, the report says.
