The president instructed the Ministry of Construction to develop the necessary technical conditions for this.

The number of EV charging stations will be required to reach 2,500.  Now there are about 70 EV charging stations operating in Uzbekistan, and another 30 are planned to be introduced into operation the end of the year.

In 2023, 1,400 land plots will be auctioned for installation of EV charging stations. In addition, the JSC Regional Electrical Power Networks (a distribution service operator and electricity sales company in Uzbekistan) must install 500 EV charging stations along the highways.
