A Tajik national has been detained in Alamedin district of Kyrgyzstan’s Chuy region on suspicion of membership in an international terrorist organization, Kyrtag.kz news agency reported on April 17, citing the Chuy police directorate.  

According to the police directorate information, they became aware that Tajik national Z.M., 30, who was previously convicted of illegal border crossing, is living in Lebedinovka village   

“According to information received from colleagues from neighboring countries, Z.M. has repeatedly been convicted of serious crimes, is wanted by police and is a member of an international terrorist organization, the Chuy police directorate said.  

The police do not say where and what serious crimes Z.M. committed, by whom he is wanted, and of what organization he is a member.
