Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali urges to tighten control of architecture and construction sector in the city.  He gave this order to his deputies at a session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) on July 12, according to the Dushanbe Administration press center.  

Speaking at the session, the mayor reportedly pointed out the inadmissibility of postponing or delaying the construction of educational health care and industrial facilities as well as roads and other facilities in the capital city.  

He also instructed to establish control over the activities of customers and contractors at the construction sites.  

Besides, Emomali instructed to intensify public relations activities, hold meetings with the population to prevent adverse social situations such as family breakdown, obeisance for foreign culture, radicalization of youth (involvement of youth in terrorist and extremist organizations), and compliance with laws on parental responsibilities and traditions and rituals.  

The mayor also instructed relevant agencies and organization to take timely preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter 2023-2024.  

Rustam Emomali also instructed chiefs of the city’s law enforcement agencies to take measures to prevent and eliminate offenses, ensure the safety of citizens, prevent and eliminate cases of vagrancy and begging in the city.
