By president’s decree issued on January 29, 2024 Ms. Dilrabo Mansouri is appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, replacing Ms. Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, who was appointed the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Under the Constitution of Tajikistan, the President shall appoint and relieve the Prime Minister and other members of the Government and submit decrees concerning the appointment and relieving of the Prime Minister and other members of the Government for confirmation of the Majlisi Oli (Tajikistan’s parliament).

Prior to the appointment to the post of the Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Mansouri was member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of two convocations (2015-2019 and 2020-2024).  On March 17, 2020, Mansouri was elected Deputy Chairperson of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the sixth convocation.

In 1996-2015, she worked in various positions at the Branch of the Tajik Technical University in Khujand, from the Laboratory Assistant to the Rector of the Branch of the Tajik Technical University in Khujand.

Dilrabo Mansouri was born in the city of Khujand on January 29, 1974.  In 1996, she graduated from the Branch of the Tajik Technical University in Khujand by specialty engineer-technologist.

She has scientific degree of the Doctor of Sciences in Engineering.  Dilrabo Mansouri has been the Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences since 2017.

She is married with two children.

Her name became widely known when it hit the media in December 2023: she was mentioned in the list of women leaders of Central Asia along with Tajik president’s wife Azizmo Asadulloyeva and Uzbek president’s wife Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva.  This ranking has been produced by the “Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement of Uzbekistan jointly with the Institute of Social and Economic Initiatives.  The list includes names of 40 influential women of Central Asia, including six women from Tajikistan.
