The working trip of President Emomali Rahmon to the Rasht Valley (eastern Tajikistan) ended on September 14.  The Tajik president’s official website says that during this working, which kicked off on September 11, Emomali Rahmon visited Sangvor, Nourobod, Lakhsh, Tojikobod and Rasht districts. 

Regional administrators and activists as well as a group of businessmen reportedly warmly saw off the head of state at the airport of Rasht district.

Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the hardworking people of Rasht district, including courageous entrepreneurs, for the warm welcome, completion of development works and support for the constructive policy of the country’s government.

The president, together with the local authorities of Rasht district, guided them to continue and expand the constructive measures for the well-deserved welcome of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.

The gathered regional administrators and entrepreneurs reportedly promised the head of state that they will continue to work hard for the prosperity of the country.

While in the area, Emomali Rahmon inaugurated a number of economic and social facilities and held meetings with regional administrators.
