Three men posing as apartment repair workers deceived their way into the residence of 44-year-old Z. Marupov, where they threatened him and seized money and a mobile phone, says the press center of the Dushanbe Police Directorate.

According to official reports, the perpetrators, who had previous convictions, also damaged two TV sets, causing losses exceeding 17,000 somonis.

The case is currently under investigation by police station 1 in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district.   Further details have not been disclosed.

It should be noted that in the first six months of this year, the number of reported robberies in the country more than doubled, rising from 5 cases last year to 11 this year.

To enhance home security, consider the REDLINE “emergency button,” which instantly alerts authorities to any threat and dispatches a Rapid Response Mobile Unit.  The installed sensors detect events such as door opening, glass breaking, movement, smoke, and water leakage.
