During a working visit to Khatlon province, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Qohir Rasoulzoda, inaugurated around 20 facilities, most of which are in the education sector, says the press office of the Khatlon governor’s office.

The Prime Minister visited Temurmalik, Vose, Shamsiddin-Shohin districts, and the city of Kulob.

In Temurmalik district, additional educational buildings were opened in Fathobod and Chilchah villages, along with the district’s education department office.

A modern kindergarten and a cold storage facility with a capacity of 500 tons were also launched.

Rasoulzoda reportedly inspected construction and riverbank reinforcement projects in Temurmalik, issuing instructions to officials for strengthening these works and ensuring the efficient use of construction materials.

In Vose district, an additional building for School No. 4 was opened in the Hulbuk village of Mirali Mahmadaliyev rural jamoat (the third-level administrative division, similar to commune or municipality, in Tajikistan).  The new facility reportedly includes 10 classrooms and is designed to accommodate 480 students in two shifts.

In the administrative center of the Shamsiddin-Shohin district, a monument was erected to the prominent Tajik poet and thinker Shamsiddin Shohin.

Additionally, a modern park was inaugurated, providing a new recreational area for local residents.  Administrative facilities, including a Youth Center and the district education department office, were also introduced into operation.

In Kulob, Rasoulzoda attended an official opening of a new building for School No 41.
