The Moscow City Court has extended the pre-trial detention of three Tajik citizens and one Russian accused of involvement in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, TASS reports.

On March 18, the court ruled to extend the arrest of Husein Medov, Lutfullo Nazrimad, Muhammadzoir Sharifzoda, and Umedjon Soliyev until May 22.  All suspects were detained as part of the terrorism investigation.

According to sources, Husein Medov, a native of Ingushetia, is suspected of supplying weapons to the perpetrators of the attack.

Additionally, another Ingushetia native, Jabrail Aushev, has been detained in connection with the case.  Meanwhile, Khavazh-Bagautdin Aliyev and Batyr Kulayev have been declared wanted.

As it had been reported earlier, a court in Moscow’s Basmanny district on February 19 extended the detention of four alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue until March 24.

The suspects in question are Dalerjon Mirzoyev, Murodali Rajabalizoda, Muhammadsobir Fayzov, and Faridoun Shamsiddinov.

The court also rejected the request of Rajabalizoda’s lawyer to change the preventive measure to a restriction on certain activities.

On February 6, the lawyer of one of the accused, Oleg Vlasov, reported that the investigation into the terrorist attack had been completed.

According to him, the parties had started reviewing the case materials, and it is unlikely that the case will be transferred to court anytime soon, as about a thousand victims need to familiarize themselves with the documents.

The terrorist attack at the Crocus City hall concert venue took place on March 22, 2024.  Armed terrorists opened fire on visitors and staff of the concert hall.

As a result of the attack, 145 people, including six children, were killed, and more than 500 were injured.  The perpetrators were reportedly arrested the following day, March 23.  A total of 27 people are accused in connection with the terrorist attack.
