On March 18, President Emomali Rahmon met with a group of newly appointed officials to discuss their roles in various government bodies.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, personnel reshuffles were carried out in the Ministries of Education and Science, Health and Social Protection of the Population, Transport, as well as in the Committees on Language and Terminology, Women and Family Affairs, the Agency for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage, and other institutions.

The president’s decrees and government resolutions appointed both young and experienced specialists to replace employees who had reached retirement age, the statement noted.

In particular, the following officials were relieved of their positions and reassigned:

Farrukh Ne’matzoda, Deputy Minister of Transport, was appointed First Deputy Minister of Transport.

Abdulhakim Kholzoda, Director of the State Agency for Social Protection of the Population under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population, was replaced by Safarzoda Abdullo Mumin.

Hoshimzoda Hasan Homid, Rector of the State Educational Institution "Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics in Khujand," was appointed First Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Nizomi Muhriddin Zainiddin, Rector of the "Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzoda," was replaced by Nazarzoda Mahmoud Mirzo.

Mirali Dostizoda, Rector of the "Tajik National Conservatory named after Talabkhodja Sattorov," was replaced by Davlatzoda Bahodur Davlat.

Gulnora Khujamzod, Director of the Pamir Biological Institute named after Khudoyor Yusubekov of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was replaced by Abdulnazarzoda Abdulnazar Ghoibnazar.

Pulod Aminzod, Director of the Institute of Geology, Earthquake-Resistant Construction, and Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was replaced by Safaralizoda Nosir Saidjalol.

Sharif Rahimzoda, Director of the Institute of Economics and Demography of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was replaced by Bobozoda Komil Olimjon.

Additionally, government resolutions appointed:

Muzaffarzoda Badriddin Sangali as Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Nabizoda Madina Rahmat as First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government, and Odinazoda Chamanoro Rustam as Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.

Gulahmadzoda Aminjon Abdujabbor as Director of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

Saidzoda Masrour Mirzokhon as Rector of the State Institution "Khujand International Institute" under the State Institution "Tajikistan International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship."

Furthermore, by presidential decrees:

Luqmon Bobokalonzoda, Ambassador to India, was concurrently appointed as the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Singapore.

Parviz Mirzozoda, Ambassador to Egypt, was concurrently appointed as the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco.
