The Government of Tajikistan has approved a list and volume of essential goods to be imported for the formation of state reserves in 2025.  These goods will be partially or fully exempt from taxes: 50% off VAT and excise tax, and full exemption from customs duties.

The import and delivery of these goods are handled by the Agency for State Material Reserves under the Government of Tajikistan.

According to the government decree, the goods include food products, diesel fuel, and gasoline.

The approved list includes the following goods:

  • Food-grade wheat – 100,000 tons
  • Sugar – 30,000 tons
  • Flour – 2,000 tons
  • Meat – 2,000 tons
  • Vegetable oil – 1,000 tons
  • Rice – 1,000 tons
  • Ground chicken – 1,000 tons
  • Diesel fuel – 100,000 tons
  • Gasoline – 100,000 tons

It is worth noting that the Agency for State Material Reserves received the right to import these goods under preferential conditions based on the “State Budget Law for 2025.”
