President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government of Tajikistan, has introduced a number of staff changes, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
By president’s decrees issued on May 2 a number of defense and border guard officials were replaced.
Muhiddin Karimzoda was appointed Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Inoyatullo Abdurahmonzoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics
Salomatsho Mirzozoda was appointed Deputy Commander of Border Troops at the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
Besides, by president’s decrees Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda was appointed to head the State Agency for Energy Oversight under the President of Tajikistan, and Daler Murodalizoda was appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

Islomiddin Rahmon was appointed to head the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Supervision.
Haidarli Rajabzoda was appointed Head of the Antimonopoly Agency under the Government of Tajikistan.
Nasimjon Karimzoda was appointed First Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and employment of the Population.
Sharif Norzoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and employment of the Population.
Abdurahmon Ashouralizoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and employment of the Population.
Zohir Olimzoda was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan.
Usmonali Qurbonzoda was appointed First Deputy Head of the Agency for Social Insurance and Pension System.
Bobodjon Sattorzoda was appointed Rector of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.
The heads of the National Translation Center under the Committee for Language and Terminology, and the administrations of the free economic zones Ishkashim and Danghara were also been replaced.
On May 2, Emomali Rahmon met with the newly appointed officials in leadership and command positions.
