Authorities in the Tajik capital have announced the temporary closure of three key roads in Dushanbe from July 26 to 29 due to infrastructure installation work.

According to a directive from the city’s mayor, the closures are necessary to allow for the installation of new sewage and water pipelines as part of ongoing urban development efforts.

The affected areas are:

  • From Roudaki Avenue toward Said Nosir Street (near the Pedagogical Institute);
  • From Roudaki Avenue toward Bukhoro Street (from the Print House intersection to Polyclinic No. 13, formerly No. 1);
  • From Roudaki Avenue toward Academician Rajabov Street (from the Ministry of Justice building toward the M. Osimi Technical University).

The Dushanbe Mayor’s Office has warned that these sections will be completely closed to vehicle traffic during the construction period.

Residents and drivers are advised to plan alternate routes in advance and use surrounding streets to bypass the construction zones.
