Starting from September 1, tariffs for water supply and sanitation for all categories of users have increased in the capital of Tajikistan. The new tariffs came into force in accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe No. 531 dated August 13, 2025.

Starting this month, the cost of a cubic meter of water (according to the meter) will be as follows:

for the population: 2.60 somoni per 1m³ of water (previously – 2.34 somoni);

for budget organizations: 3.59 somoni (previously – 2.77 somoni);

for commercial organizations: 9.10 somoni (previously – 4.28 somoni).

The following payment rates are set for consumers without water meters:

for multi-storey buildings: 28.07 somoni per month per person (previously – 10.61 somoni).

for private houses with water supply and sewerage: 23.39 somoni per month per person (previously – 7.01 somoni).

for houses with heating or outdoor plumbing: 7.41 somoni per month per person (previously – 4.94 somoni).

In connection with the introduction of new tariffs for water supply and sanitation services from September 1, 2025, the "Obu Korezi Dushanbe" Water Supply and Sanitation Department (SUE "Water Supply and Sewerage of Dushanbe") appeals to residents of the city to carefully review the changes and make timely payments for the services provided.
