The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan has strongly condemned the attack that took place on December 16, targeting 10-year-old Qobiljon Aliyev, a citizen of Tajikistan, who was a fourth-grade student at Uspenskaya Secondary School in Gorki-2 settlement of the Odintsovo district, Moscow region. The attack was reportedly motivated by national hatred.

In response to the incident, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tajikistan, Semen Grigoriyev, was summoned to the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was presented with a note demanding that the Russian side conduct an immediate, objective, and impartial investigation into the tragic incident and hold all responsible parties accountable to the full extent of the law.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 AM on December 16, when a 15-year-old Russian teenager attacked a school security guard with a knife and then proceeded to attack 10-year-old Qobiljon Aliyev, who later died from his injuries. After the attack, the teenager barricaded himself in one of the classrooms and was later arrested by law enforcement officers.

Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for a thorough investigation and appropriate legal action against those involved in the attack, underscoring the importance of justice in this tragic case.
