Dushanbe mayor demands that all electricity supply shortcomings should be removed till November 15

DUSHANBE, October 29, 2008, Asia-Plus  — On Tuesday October 28, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev held a meeting to discuss preparations for winter and sanitary situation in the city. 

Heads of relevant municipal services and the city law enforcement agencies attended the meeting.  

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the mayor, said that Ubaidulloyev demanded at the meeting that all existing electricity supply shortcomings should be removed till November 15.  Persons in charge of electricity supply were warned that strict measures would be taken against them if they fail to remove the shortcomings.
