DUSHANBE, March 12, 2013, Asia-Plus — Minister of Labor and Social Protection Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov is currently on a working trip to the Rasht Valley, according to the press center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Senior representatives of the ministry are accompanying the minister on this trip. The main purpose of the visit is for the minister to hold meetings with senior representatives of local authorities to discuss issues related to creation of new jobs, collection of social taxes and timely payment of pensions and allowances in the area.
Today, Mahmadaminov is receiving residents of the Rasht district to solve the problems and issues that are in the competence of the ministry, the source said.
In February, the minister of labor made similar trips to Qurghon Teppa, the capital of Khatlon province and Khujand, the capital of Sughd province.
