Farzona Emomali, Head of the Department of Reforms, Primary Healthcare, and International Relations at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MoHSPP) of Tajikistan, became a Candidate of Sciences in Medicine, successfully defending her thesis on the topic “Modern Aspects of Medical and Social Services for Children and Adolescents in Medical Centers.”
As reported by the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan, Farzona’s thesis, supervised by Doctor of Sciences in Medicine, Professor Zohir Nabiyev, focuses on improving primary healthcare and implementing integrated medical and social services for children and adolescents in medical centers in Tajikistan.
The scientific work notes that children’s health depends on numerous factors, such as the family’s social status, parents’ education level, and access to medical services. These aspects influence the development of a child’s personality, and the development of effective assistance models is of great importance.
Farzona’s research activities are reflected in 15 scientific articles, 9 of which are directly related to the topic of her thesis, the Ministry of Health emphasized.
Farzona Emomali, the youngest daughter of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, was born on July 4, 1998, in Dushanbe. After finishing high school in 2014, she entered the Faculty of General Medicine at the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, which she graduated from in 2020 with honors. In 2022, she completed a clinical residency in pediatrics, and in 2023, she graduated with honors from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan with a degree in public administration.
Since 2021, Farzona Emomali has been working in a MoHSPP. In August 2025, she was appointed to head the Directorate of Reforms, Primary Healthcare, and International Relations of the Ministry.
