The event was attended by heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the Majlisi Oli committees, political parties, public associations, civil society, and the media.

Opening the meeting, Kohir Rasulzoda presented a report on the structure’s activities for the year 2025 and acquainted those present with the work plan for 2026.

He emphasized that the effectiveness of combating corruption directly depends on the coordinated interaction of state bodies and civil society, which allows for the implementation of real mechanisms for control, transparency, and accountability.

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the role of the National Council and the public commissions created with its support at the local level, whose main task is to coordinate the efforts of the authorities and the civil sector.

The participants discussed the results of comprehensive monitoring of the implementation of the first stage of the State Strategy for Combating Corruption, covering the years 2021–2025, and also touched upon the issues of introducing digital technologies into anti-corruption processes.

As part of the agenda, reports were heard from the heads of several departments, representatives of local authorities, and the Civil Society Coalition for Transparency and Combating Corruption. Following the discussion, members of the Council and heads of state institutions were instructed to actively demonstrate civic engagement, promptly eliminate preconditions for corrupt practices, and work on strengthening Tajikistan’s international image.
