DUSHANBE, October 13, 2008, Asia-Plus  — On Monday October 13, President Emomali Rahmon presided over a working meeting with participation of members of the government and senior representatives of president’s offices and a number of ministries and organizations.  

According to presidential press service, implementation of instructions given by the president during his recent visit to the Rasht Valley as well as agreements reached during the meetings of heads of state from the CIS, Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and Central Asia in Bishkek on October 10 were the focus of the meeting.  

The president charged relevant ministries and organizations to take adequate measures to ensure timely implementation of his instructions and agreements reached in Bishkek.  

The meeting also considered issues related to the pace of the autumn sowing campaign and measures to ensure regular work of the country’s economy during the winter months, the press service.
