DUSHANBE, October 13, 2008, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the national budget for 2008 at an October 13 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on holidays, state duty, as well as changes and addenda proposed to the military servicemen retirement act.
Some of these issues will be considered at a regular sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on October 15, the spokesman said.
