DUSHANBE, September 16, 2013, Asia-Plus –  President Emamali Rahman visited Asht and Spitamenes Districts in frame of his working visit through Soghd Province.

President’s press office reports that Mr. Rahman took part in the opening ceremony of a district hospital in Asht District administrative center, in Shaydan village, which was built on state budget for 11 million Samani. 2 million 200 thousand Samani was spent to equip the hospital.

The country’s leader took part in the circumcision ceremony of 20 boys from Asht’s low-income families in the courtyard of the hospital. The President presented TV sets, refrigerators, and other gifts to the boys.

Mr. Rahman visited a boarding school in Spitamenes District, where he looked at the orphans’ and children from low-income families’ living conditions. The President presented school supplies, clothes, and savings accounts with 1 thousand Samani each to 30 of the students.

Mr. Rahman also acquainted himself with the road construction in Spitamenes, participated in the opening ceremony of a statue to the glorious son of the Tajik people, Spitamenes, and visited Saidqorghan village.
