DUSHANBE, September 16, 2013, Asia-Plus – Representatives of local majlises of the central subordination districts, Khatlan and Badakhshan provinces elected three new Tajik senators during their sessions held last Saturday.
Central Election Committee of Tajikistan reported to Asia-Plus that the head of Hissar District, Uman Sabzov, head of Vase District of Khatlan Province, Rustam Latifov, and Rector of Kharough State University, Imamyarbek Qalandarbekov, have been elected as members of the upper chamber of Parliament.
