QURGHON TEPPA, June 3, 2014, Asia-Plus — Qurghon Teppa’s sanitary inspection is seriously concerned over poor sanitary conditions in local dental rooms.

“Inspection of local both state-run and private dental rooms has revealed numerous instances of violation of sanitary requirements,” the Qurghon Teppa chief sanitary inspector, Mirali Sabzayev, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, three dental rooms have been shut down for failure to meet sanitary requirements.

“Increase in number of stray animals in the city is also the serious problem,” said Sabzayev.  “Although 457 stray animals have been put away since the beginning of the year, the number of stray animals has increased in Qurghon Teppa lately.”

Over the first five months of this year, the Qurghon Teppa sanitary inspection has carried out 1,220 inspections and 785 instances of violation of sanitary requirements have been revealed.

Administrative action has been imposed upon 487 persons; they have been fined a total of 65,690 somoni.  Besides, 150 service facilities have been suspended until removal of shortcomings, Sabzayev said.
