DUSHANBE, July 30, 2014, Asia-Plus – A government session, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, was held in Dushanbe on July 29.

According to the president’s official website, the meeting discussed and endorsed the housing and communal facilities development program designed for 2014-2018, the national concept for rehabilitation of tailing dumps designed for 2014-2024, the state cadastre of storage of radioactive wastes, the state register of radioactive wastes, the procedure of the environmental impact assessment and the list of mountain areas having special natural conditions.

The meeting also approved the draft laws on diplomatic service and making amendments to the country’s law on youth and national youth policy and submitted them for consideration to the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament.

Besides, the meeting discussed and endorsed the government’s resolutions on the draft laws requiring amendments to the country’s laws on military service and advertising activity.
