DUSHANBE, June 18, Asia-Plus — Sharif Said, the head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), is attending the 6th meeting of the council of heads of the CIS chambers of commerce and industry that opened in Astana, Kazakhstan today.
The source at the Tajik CCI said that the meeting is being held within the framework of an Economic Forum formally titled “Innovative Way of Development – the Pivot of Eurasian Integration”, staged by Russian and Kazakhstan CCIs.
The meeting participants are discussing a broad range of issues related to innovative development of Russia and Kazakhstan, bilateral trade and economic ties, as well as integration processes within the area of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC), the source said.
Tajik CCI head’s visit to Kazakhstan will last till June 20.
