DUSHANBE, June 12, Asia-Plus — Domestic tourism is developing in Tajikistan and many people are taking holidays within the country, Lochin Fayzulloyev, the deputy head of the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
“All large sanatoriums across the country such Qairoqqum, Khoja Obi Garm and Garm Chashma are filed with holidaymakers,” Fayzulloyev said, noting that residents of Dushanbe prefer t have the rest in Varzob, Hissor and Romit areas.
He further added that prices of sanatorium vouchers are not expected to rise considerable because they are provided by trade unions.
“Specialists expect prices of some food products to rise during summer months that may affect holiday expenses,” Fayzulloyev said.
