The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, signed a decree “On the Regulation of Salaries and Payment of Bonuses to Employees in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies”.

It aims at the development of modern technologies, improving human capital, and strengthening the intellectual potential and digitalization of all spheres of life, the state-run news agency Khovar reports.

The decree provides for the creation of a new incentive system for specialists in the field of information technology, which will depend not only on work experience but also on professional competence and international certification of employees. The salary increase will be fully funded from the state budget.
