DUSHANBE, April 30, Asia-Plus – Officers from the GBAO police directorate have discovered sub-machine-gun Kalashnikov hidden in the border area Nivodak at the Tajik-Afghan border in Khorog.
According to Nafas Dilshodov, the head of the investigation department within the GBAO prosecutor’s office, the sub-machine-gun was hidden in brake on the bank of the Panj River.
He added that 88 firearms have been confiscated from the population in the region over the first three months of this year, which is 62 unit more than in the same period of last year.
