DUSHANBE, April 25, Asia-Plus  — Barqi Tojik (Tajik electric systems) power holding, accounting for 50 percent of the total amount of large enterprises” tax debts, remains one of the most incorrigible tax-dodgers in the country, Burhon Nazarov, the head of the large taxpayers inspectorate within the Tax Committee, announced at après conference in Dushanbe today.  

According to him, the power holding now owes 65 million somonis to the national budget.  He noted that the debt has resulted from debts of the federally funded enterprises and organizations to Barqi Tojik.  

A total amount of tax debts of 180 large enterprises has to date amounted to 125 million somonis.
